Hobby photographer. Mostly street and travel shots — things I notice while walking through a city or on holiday. I've also covered some events, which is a different challenge: you can't wait for the light, you just work with what's there.

Somewhere between patience, composition, and knowing when to press the shutter, photography keeps the same part of the brain active as good problem-solving. It's also just a good excuse to pay attention and take quick decisions.
