Music

Music started as something to do during lockdown. A friend and I built a home studio setup and started writing synth-pop and electronic tracks — programming beats, layering synthesisers, recording everything ourselves. We released a few demos under the name Kirikikakou.

The project has been quiet for a while, but sound synthesis has become a proper interest of its own. There's a lot of overlap with electrical engineering — filters, oscillators, signal chains — and I've been going deeper into that side of it. Currently working on sound design for a YouTube channel related to "Magic: the Gathering". Fair warning: Kirikikakou has a political edge — my collaborator's convictions run through both the lyrics and the visuals.
